Atrofod- f tablet (ALU) is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines used to lower cholesterol and triglycerides levels in the blood, reducing the risk of heart disease. It can be taken with or without food, and the dosage depends on individual lipid levels. It is part of a treatment program that includes a healthy low-fat diet, regular exercise, smoking cessation, moderation of alcohol intake, and weight reduction. Common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, headache, insomnia, flatulence, and muscle pain.
